Full Formula Medically Supervised (800 Calorie Meal Plan)

This program forms the basis of your plan if you wish to lose 50 pounds or more and have been unsuccessful with several other diet programs. Similar to our partial formula program in structure, the Full Formula Program uses close medical monitoring during active weight loss which is, on average, between 3 and 6 pounds a week.

A physician, registered dietitian, exercise physiologists and behaviorists closely monitor participants in this program.

This program consists of 20 weeks of treatment in the following phases:

Pre-assessment / Step Down (Week 1): EKG & Labs drawn Welcome and Introduction MD visit for physical. Labs and EKG checked. Behaviorist meeting scheduled.
Active Weight Loss (Weeks 2-13): During the active weight loss, food intake will be limited to 5 formulas a day. The clinic meets Thursday from 5:30-8:00 p.m. and involves: -monitoring and lab work -physician visits -group sessions -gym workout
Transition (Weeks14-20): During the transition phase, food is gradually increased and the formula is gradually discontinued. Nutrition education is the focus of the weekly group sessions. The clinic will continue to meet from 5:30-8:00 p.m. and involves the same components as the active weight loss phase, including and exit interview with the behaviorist.
Ongoing Maintenance: Weight loss can continue during maintenance which meets Thursday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and involves regular group sessions and individual behaviorist sessions (if requested). This part of the program is crucial for long term success. This phase provides continued training and group support as you practice the skills you have learned and travel down the road of success.

If you have attended 16 sessions of the 32 maintenance classes during the first year, you will be an ongoing member at no charge for as long as you keep attending 50% annually.
